Alkane Truck Company
Alternative Fuel Vehicles
We thought about the future of America’s energy situation. How we would be affected if conflict were to arise in the world, or more specifically, the Middle East? Prices would rise overnight and the cost of transporting goods would skyrocket.
What if we could offer something; something dynamic as well as practical? Something that could ensure America’s delivery of goods and products, and do it in a way that could not only help alleviate our fears of future energy supplies and cost, but also contribute to cleaner air. And, have it produced in America as well!
Those thoughts were formulated 5 years ago. Today, Alkane Truck Company is a reality and is actively participating in creating clean-burning trucks which run on domestically produced fuels. We did it in a way that had not been done before; without building a new manufacturing facility and without other costs associated with a brand new start up. And, let’s not forget, we completed the task using our own money.
Today, we use a simplified, streamlined business model that brings to the market a unique form of production and distribution. Our products include 3 types of clean-burning vehicles: A Class 7 Truck, a 4WD humvee-style vehicle and a Class 8, 18-Wheeler Tractor. We have a well-established dealership network in place, and through these dealerships we will sell and service our line of vehicles.
Our dealers are there…the end users are there…the demand is there.
Together, we can provide American jobs, clean up the air for generations to come and create a culture of energy independence.
Join us in our journey to change the future of trucking.
THREE UNIQUE VEHICLES, ALL POWERED WITH LIQUID PROPANE:
THE CLASS 7 CAB-OVER DELIVERY TRUCK
THE 4WD HUMVEE-STYLE DOMINATOR™
THE CLASS 8 CAB-OVER HEAVY-DUTY TRACTOR
THE CLASS 7 CAB-OVER IS THE ONLY ONE OF ITS TYPE IN THIS WEIGHT CLASS THAT RUNS ON LIQUID PROPANE
Our Class 7 Liquid Propane Autogas (LPG) powered cab-over cleared Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance in 2015 and is ready for production. Fleet dealers are in place and orders are coming in.
“DOMINATOR™ FILLS THE VOID LEFT BY HUMMER H1 AND H2”
The Alkane Dominator™, a Humvee type all-terrain, workhorse, is scheduled to clear DOT compliance by the 4rd quarter of 2016. This vehicle fills the void left by the H1 (and H2) Hummer with a clean burning hi-torque LPG-powered engine. The Alkane Dominator™ is not only suited for government, military and municipal applications, it also targets the civilian, on/off-road enthusiast market. The Dominator ™ will be available in LPG, CNG or gasoline engines. A standard feature of the Dominator™ is the overall Line-X Polurea coating, which prevents rust, scratches and abrasions to all painted surfaces. Alkane’s engineers are also developing bullet-resistant armoring for police and military applications.
ALKANE’S CLASS 8 CAB-OVER, HEAVY-DUTY TRACTOR IS CLEAN BURNING AND MANEUVERABLE IN CONGESTED AREAS
The Alkane Class 8 LPG-powered cab-over is our entry into the long-haul trucking market. This highly-efficient and clean-burning tractor is scheduled to complete sourcing and certification by mid 2018. Alkane’s phased approach to delivering these three vehicles allows for immediate (2016) sales of the Class 7, the ability to begin filling orders for the Alkane Dominator™ in 2017, and taking the Class 8 to production in 2018.
ESTABLISHED DEALERSHIP LOCATIONS WHERE ALKANE VEHICLES WILL BE SOLD AND SERVICED. WE ARE ADDING DEALERSHIPS DAILY
Alkane Truck Company utilizes a unique business model, eliminating the need for a multi-million dollar manufacturing facility. Alkane incorporates a number of out-sourced component parts including gliders and frames, engines, transmissions, fuel systems, etc. The parts are engineered together and subjected to strict EPA, CARB and DOT compliance testing. An assembly operation is then needed to merge the parts together and produce the final vehicles for use. The order-to-delivery cycle is dramatically shortened and reduces the need for excessive component inventories. Vehicles come together at Alkane’s South Carolina assembly plant that will (initially) create skilled jobs for 300+ workers. Lower overhead, and quick turnover allows Alkane to easily fill niche market requirements…just like that of the Alkane Dominator™.
Our major quality providers are:
Agrale is a Brazilian manufacturer of military vehicles, commercial vehicles, engines and agricultural tractors. Agrale will furnish Alkane with the gliders for the Alkane Dominator™. Agrale was established in 1962 and has become the major supplier of military vehicles to the Brazilian government. To date, Agrale has manufactured and produced nearly one million products.
Foton/Daimler is the manufacturer of the gliders, or chassis and frame. On June 16, 2015, the World Brand Summit, organized by the World Brand Lab (WBL) in Beijing, China, released the 2015 (12th) list of China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands. Foton ranked 1st in commercial vehicles in the domestic industry, with a brand value of 80.936 billion yuan (13.4 billion US dollars), a growth rate of 20 percent for five consecutive years and renewal as China’s No.1 commercial vehicle brand for 11 consecutive years. Foton is located in Beijing China and produces over 700,000 trucks per year.
Power Solutions International (PSI) is the engine manufacturer located near Chicago, Illinois. PSI is the leader in alternative fuel engine development and the leading cleantech manufacturer and supplier of industrial and on-road engine and power solutions.
LINE-X is the industry leader in truck bed protection offering specially formulated polymers that permanently bond to a truck’s bed protecting it from just about anything. As one of the nation’s leading providers of spray-on protective coatings LINE-X products are utilized in commercial, industrial, agricultural, military and custom applications.
Bi-Phase Technologies is an electronic fuel-injection system manufacturer. Bi-Phase Technologies, formerly a privately held subsidiary of Schwan Food and is proven and durability tested with millions of miles of road use.
Triad Services Group, Inc. has provided a ground-up solution for the Class 7 truck, from concept to full OEM production. Triad has a proven track record of developing engineered vehicle products that achieve all final delivery expectations.
Propane is the most widely distributed alternative fuel to date. Fueling station installation is inexpensive (normally above ground) compared to other fuels. There are aggressive incentives available intended to boost construction.
All three vehicles satisfy an important part of the trucking industry. Due to the recession of 2008, fleet operators have postponed badly needed replacements. There is pent-up demand and there are state and federal incentives for the purchase of alternative fueled vehicles.
Investors are invited to participate in what we hope is Alkane’s successful implementation of this development and production plan.
Alkane Truck Company has spent a little over 5 years in development and has not incurred any debt. We have invented a way to produce vehicles and place them in the hands of established dealerships without the huge expense of a manufacturing facility. Because of Alkane’s innovative dedication and perseverance, we have succeeded in bringing to the market the first new U.S. truck brand in over 48 years. Our Class 7 cab-over is the only one of its kind in the U.S., in this weight class, that runs on liquid propane autogas (LPG).
In the Fall of 2015, we successfully concluded DOT compliance testing and are now taking orders from our many dealer locations. Through 2017 and 2018, we will bring to the market two other vehicles that will be just as unique and innovative: our Class 8 cab-over, 18-wheeler, and the 4WD humvee-style, Alkane Dominator™.
Alkane Truck Company is seeking those investors that are interested in helping us replace diesel trucks with clean-burning, less polluting forms of trucking. We are dedicated to using our own domestically produced natural gas and weaning the country off of Mideast oil. Most importantly, we are seeking to create jobs for Americans in engineering, development, assembly, logistics, marketing and sales.
We are inviting those that are interested in becoming a part of our project by contributing to the funding of three key components:
Acquisition of parts and inventory for mass production of Class 7 trucks in order to assist in expediting delivery to existing dealers.
Engineering and development of the 4WD, humvee-style Alkane Dominator™ for compliant use on U.S. highways.
Engineering and development of the Class 8, propane-powered 18 wheeler truck for compliant use on U.S. highways.
When you seek to play in an established market like commercial trucking, it takes people with industry depth to understand the challenges of developing a channel and spot a new market or industry break-through.
Alkane Truck Co. recently achieved compliance certification from the U.S. Department of Transportation for its propane-fueled Class 7 cab-over-engine trucks, which will be assembled at a new plant in South Carolina starting in 2016.
“A testament to the loyal, world-class workforce in South Carolina, Alkane’s investment in Dorchester County is a significant win for our manufacturing industry, the Lowcountry community and the entire state,” says Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt, in a press release.
Alkane Class 7 Cab-Over Liquid Propane Autogas (LPG) or Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks are now available for dealership orders after compliance to U.S. Department of Transportation standards and regulations.
South Carolina Department of Commerce
We couldn’t be happier to celebrate the 300 new jobs Alkane is
bringing to Dorchester County, and we are proud to congratulate this great company for all of the success they have found here.”

Fleets and Fuels
Alkane Truck has opened a manufacturing facility in Summerville, S.C., which is expected to add 300 new jobs over the next two years. This announcement ties into the company’s launch of its Class 7 liquid-injected propane cab-over truck.
The company’s Class 7 unit, which received Department of Transportation (DOT) certification late last year, features a Power Solutions International-engineered 8.8-liter V8 engine with 270hp and 575 ft.lb. of torque. The company expects to begin production of the Class 7 units later this year, while Class 8 trucks are expected to be available for dealer order by the end of 2018, pending DOT approval. Both trucks will be assembled in Alkane’s South Carolina assembly plant.
Alkane Truck Co. will sell vehicles through its established network of 130 truck dealership locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The cab and chassis can be fitted with various bodies from a variety of suppliers to accommodate niche market needs that include the general delivery industry, the beverage delivery industry, the refuse industry, and the propane delivery industry.
Alkane Truck Company, a new OEM of Class 7-8 Trucks in Myrtle Beach, S.C., has released its propane autogas-powered cab over Class 7 truck to the U.S. market.
Five years ago, Bob Smith realized that there was an opportunity to fill a much-needed void in America’s trucking. He saw countless numbers of diesel-powered trucks transporting goods. Those trucks were emitting tons of carbon emissions and for the most part dependent on foreign oil.
His vision was three-fold:
Produce a line of clean-burning, alternative fueled trucks.
Use domestically produced, more cost-effective fuels such as propane and CNG.
Assemble the trucks in the U.S. and create jobs for Americans.
Today that vision has become a reality. Alkane Truck Company is in production and taking orders for its class 7 cab-over delivery trucks. Alkane is in development of a class 8 truck and a humvee-style 4WD off-road vehicle which will be available in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
Alkane is debt-free having funded its entire program internally.
Using “others” expensive factories, Alkane uses a simplified business model which the company believes reduces risk.
Alkane has a network of well established dealer locations in place where trucks will be sold and serviced.
Truck fleets are anxious to acquire our class 7 cab-over trucks and Alkane is unique in offering such a truck in this weight class.
Alkane Truck Company is no longer a concept but a reality.
You can be a part of an industry that sold over 400,000 trucks last year. You are investing in a new American truck brand that is the first OEM to be introduced in this country in over 48 years.
Together, we can clean up the air, reduce our dependence on foreign oil and create American jobs. Be a part of Alkane Truck Company’s vision today!
