The Three Buccaneers

By Jack Fitzgerald

In a banged up 1.0L car, three friends from uni are driving (or at least trying to drive) 16000km from London to Mongolia. Why? We aren’t sure either but we are raising money in the process

G’day comrades!

The Three Buccaneers is a team consisting of Nicholas “Grizzly Bear” Wokker, Jack “The Ripper” Fitzgerald and Luke “Kog Dog” Kogias.

This wolf pack have set their eyes on driving halfway across the world in an epic adventure of charity and personal salvation. The Mongol Rally has 3 rules:

1) You must take a farcically small car
2) You are completely on your own
3) You’ve got to raise 1000GBP for charity

Being the successful group of GenY’ers that we are (2 out of the 3 of us are currently living at home), if we’re lucky we might just survive the journey.

Click here for more details on the Mongol Rally.

The Money Stuff:

We are required to raise a minimum of 500GBP (around $1000) for the Mongol Rally’s official charity (Cool Earth) and a minimum 500GBP for a charity of our choosing (Youth Off The Streets). Once the initial 500GBP is raised for Cool Earth, all remaining donations will go to Youth Off The Streets.
