The short film MOMBYRY will work a state of things. The foundations that support this premise are steeped in realism. We do not try to create scenarios, we will use space that are known, used everyday.
The lighting will work from natural light. In the darkest moments few aces of light that create the climate for the events that are about to happen. The light will be punctuated by lamps that often form part of the plane.
The camera will be stationary, as a necessary witness of the facts narrated. However, it will be released in a plane sequence with steadycam when Gladys visit a Pension (Family hotel) with the desire to move.
The locations will be made up: Mario department, where Gladys and Kevin live and sleep on a sofa in the living room. It is the house of lonely man, messy, with a stew of furniture, a little dirty. They sleep around packed boxes and in the gloom of a windowless living. Elsa’s house, where Gladys works, an old house, come down. A house of a grandmother, abandoned, forgotten. The parlor, where Gladys goes every day to try to talk to the family she left in her hometown. A pension, family hotel, with long hallways and courtyards with freshly laundered clothes drying.
The sound will work from a silent soundtrack, composed of specific sounds that still highlighted when not flat. the off-field work.
