Exeter Swim & Racquet Club will sit on a 21-acre wooded property adjacent to the Little River Conservation Area in Exeter, NH.

Private Membership to Swim and Racquet/Social Club

Membership provides access to the only accessible year round pool in the surrounding community (for 25 miles), a fitness center, a bar/grill/patio, 16 acres of wooded outdoor activities and year round Members Only activities. The Club will have nice locker rooms, a supervised children’s play room and splash pad with wading pool.

Ian Smith

Ian E Smith has 10 years of executive management experience and over 15 years of business development experience in the telecommunications and construction industries. With previous restaurant management experience and a collegiate swimming career, Ian brings a unique background and management skill set to the team.

Ian graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Recreation Management and Policy in 1999. Ian was a member of the Men’s Division I Swim team where he captured 21 conference titles and earned two conference Swimmer of the Year awards. In 2008, Smith was inducted to the University of New Hampshire Athletic Hall of Fame. Post college, Ian spent time managing a large restaurant in Colorado.

Mr. Smith is currently the Director of Professional Services for Waveguide, a NH based telecom construction and engineering firm. As a senior executive, he directs a staff of project managers, the engineering staff, project budgeting and estimating, and forecasting.

Laurie Smith

Laurie Parlin Smith has over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness fields. Laurie specifically brings her business ownership, fitness center management and programming experience to the Exeter Swim and Racquet Club.
Laurie graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1999 with a degree in Exercise Physiology and went on the earn her Masters degree in Health Education from Boston University. While in Boston, Laurie managed both corporate and collegiate fitness centers ranging in size between 200 to 1200 members.
She also oversaw multiple fitness center builds and re-designs during that time. Laurie also brings experience in public health, health education, personal training and program management.

Laurie is currently an Owner and Director of Operations at Zev Yoga Studios. Zev Yoga currently has 3 locations in the NH seacoast (Exeter, Portsmouth & Dover), over 1000 members and is continuing to expand throughout the region.

Chief Operating Officer
Jonathan Morgan, MBA

owned and operated North Stream Consulting, a successful, international small business development firm, from 2008-2012. Jon is an emerging markets development professional with a demonstrated ability to achieve operational objectives, project management and strategic change in companies. North Stream served five clients in industries ranging from infrastructure development to security to energy. Jon primarily assisted his clients in successfully establishing capable networks of professionals, organizing product/service development and overseeing successful market launches in various markets. Mr. Morgan helped small and medium size companies bring their products and services to developing markets in West Africa and beyond. Mr. Morgan based his operations out of Dakar, Senegal from 2010-2012.
Mr. Morgan is currently Director of Research Alliances for Area 1 Security, a VC funded cybersecurity startup based in Silicon Valley. Mr. Morgan completed his MBA in 2015 at UNC – Kenan Flagler.
