iCrowdNewswire - Apr 1, 2016

Hydro Empire PVT Ltd.

Kathmandu, Nepal, Nepal
Alternative & Renewable Energy

Experienced company in High Head Hydropower generation with 20MW license which can be upgraded to 40MW using Run off River type on the Myagdi River, Myagdi District of Dhawalagiri Zone in the Western Development region of Nepal

Hydro Empire PVT Ltd. and its owners have the desire to develop a number of Hydro Power Generation facilities throughout Nepal using tried and tested generation high head design with a experienced team. We also own another project of 25MW on the same Myagdi river.
High head generation design has minimal impact to local environment or the source river as it takes a small % flow of the river rather than dam and flooding of the above land so increasing the projects environmental and renewable approach.
The economically feasible hydro power potential in Nepal has been estimated at about 83,000 MW. A very insignificant portion (1.5%) of this vast resource has been tapped up to now. Due to the liberalization of hydro power policy by the Govt., many Independent Power Producers (IPPs) are attracted to this sector. In the recent year, the government is emphasizing the utilization of local resources including technical resources for the development of hydro power in Nepal. The small hydro power projects provide a good opportunity for investment.
