Project aim
Help three very talented broads and their band produce an super duper album of toe tapping tunes!
In springtime 1944, 3 New York City broads moved to London, England as part of the war effort and have been making waves ever since. With their captivating close-harmony singing, charming choreography and comedic banter there is no stopping these gals. They go by the name The Hotsie Totsies and have played main stage at Twinwood Festiva and have performed at The Royal International Air Tattoo and London Classic Car Show to name a few. In addition to this, the Hotsies have performed on BBC radio, at Ronnie Scott’s and have been featured in the London Evening Standard following successful Christmas performances at London’s Waterloo Station.
The Hotsie Totsies are made up of Lois ‘Legs’ Laurelle, Rita Roo Rossiter and Minnie Maloney. Lois is a born optimist and natural flirt. In fact this curvaceous songbird will put a smile on anyone’s face – she’s a real doozy! Rita Roo is one heck of a classy broad! Originally from England but raised in uptown New York, Rita is hoping one day to marry a big time movie director. Last but not least, with ambitions to be a pilot one day, Minnie can regularly be seen propping up the bar doing shots with the barman between sets. Who needs the Andrews Sisters when the Hotsie Totsies are in town?
Now The Hotsie Totsies need your help. They are raising dollars for their very first album and music video which they are hoping to debut early summertime. They sure do love their fans! The album will include songs by The Andrews Sisters, Peggy Lee, Bing Crosby, Cole Porter and Glenn Miller.
