The music is my refuge, the only place where I can express what words can not say. The piano, fingers on those keys, notes that are spread in the air: sometimes that’s all that I need.
My name is Costantino Carrara, I’m eighteen and I grew up in Puglia. My passion for music was born even before I learned to walk, and at the age of eleven years everything has been reflected in a special interest in the piano.
Since my first approach to the study of the classics, I enjoyed playing my first musical arrangements, which have led me in a few months to open a YouTube channel. I started recording my first cover at the piano with an old camera and, with the passage of time, I gained more and more skills, which allowed me to produce my music professionally, with many sacrifices.
A commitment that was repaid in recent years with the success: my large family currently has about150.000 users, for a total of 20 million views.
The piano, however, is not so easy to carry (let’s say it weighs a little bit, huh!), and this little problem has always forced me to realize my video on location where it was already present.
So, having already filmed in all the museums, theaters and reception halls in my area, contaminating them with my performance, I decided to go beyond, to register in the most absurd and extravagant places, immersed in the nature or surrounded by the people, on the road, in the mountains or inspired by the sound of the sea.
Hence, from the search for freedom, autonomy and new inspiration, was born the idea of “Wild Pianos“: the music out of the schemes.
The goal of the project is to be able to raise the amount needed to buy a piano easily transportable, that allows me to shoot my videos everywhere, with total independence and in the most unusual locations: immersed in the forest or on the seashore, in the chaos of the city or in the quiet of nature.
But I will be able to do this only with your support!
For those who decide to support me, of course I expected rewards: for example, the copy of my new album or a live directly to your home! It is also available from a few hours the score of “Hello” that you will find exclusively here only.
With the purchase of any reward, you’ll get access to exclusive video that will be posted here on Musicraiser.
But they certainly do not end here: in fact many will be the prizes selected for you, depending on yourgenerosity! :D
This is a summary of my project: I really hope will spark your interest and that, even in your small, can help me reaching my big goal.
A big thanks goes to Silvia Bisceglia who helped me in the creation of the project.
Thanks to Davide Saponieri and Federica Crudele for the video presentation.
