Bring a smile to kids in the Kimberley Region

Give kids in the Kimberley region the chance to be active in schools and bring smiles to their faces.

A physical activity, recreational program that uses outdoor challenges to help the kids learn, play, be healthy and build important life skills such as patience, confidence, self esteem and cooperation. Fundamentally the Bluearth programs are aimed at bringing joy, excitement and fun to the children in the Kimberley communities and helping to close the gap in health, education and social outcomes.

With funding being cut for the 2014 school year, Bluearth Foundation must fundraise enough to continue to deliver this valuable program in Kimberley schools. Without your support the execution of this long running program in the region will cease. The many health, education and social benefits for the children, their families and the greater community will be greatly missed. Bluearth needs your help to continue our important work, making a difference in the Kimberley.

The Bluearth program uses games and activities to help kids:
Be confident
Have fun.

We will be fundraising for the program over the next 60 days, and we ask you as a valued supporter to contribute and help Bluearth Foundation raise $23,000 to run this vital program in one school for another year.

The Bluearth Foundation is a national not-for-profit organisation focused on increasing the levels of physical activity among Australians- in particular school-aged children. Founded in 2000, by Australian businessman and philanthropist Malcolm Freake, to help improve the health and wellbeing of our citizens with the delivery of best practise physical activity into the community.

The Bluearth Foundation schools programs is based on six key elements:

1. Coordination and Agility
2. Skills Activities
3. Moving in the Environment
4. Moving Challenges and Games
5. Core Movement
6. Dynamic Movement Control
