Great Lakes Ashtanga Yoga: a new yoga studio

iCrowdNewswire - Feb 27, 2016

Great Lakes Ashtanga Yoga is a new yoga studio that will be opening in beautiful downtown Geneva, Ohio. The studio is being formed under the partnership of local yoga instructors, Marque Garaux and Jessica Humphery. The historic building that we have chosen for our location is in the very center of downtown Geneva and is easily accessible from the highway and the neighboring communities. We envision this to become a true community hub offering several daily classes for the health and wellness of the people in the area as well as a destination place for yoga practitioners and teachers to gather from afar for in-depth study and practice of these traditional methods of yoga.

Most importantly to us and to the community we are seeking this additional money as a way to keep the cost of yoga much lower by having less initial overhead. As long time students and teachers of yoga we have seen the way the yoga industry in the US is growing larger and larger. Yoga passes are getting more expensive and unfortunately out of reach for many people. We have both experienced and witnessed the transformative powers of this style of yoga and our ultimate goal is to bring this healing into the lives of as many people as possible. For this reason we intentionally searched for and found the the perfect location in Geneva, Ohio that also offers us an affordable monthly rent. With the ability to keep our overall expenses lower, we will find ourselves with the freedom to offer our services at much better rates than the current industry standard.

Our passion for teaching yoga is ultimately what brought us to this point. Our purpose is to share yoga with our community in the most traditional approach possible. The word Yoga at its very root means to yoke, unite, join, or bring together. Your donation is invaluable to us and this community. Your help will extend so much further than the walls, plumbing, electrical, and painting. It will weave into the very fabric of our yoga community and make significant and positive changes in so many lives.
