If we can raise £10,000 through crowndfunder we will be able to renovate the first two guest rooms and have them easy for guests before Easter 2016.
When we opened The Globe on April 1st 2015 we set out to achieve a restaurant that featured the finest of local produce and one that was Cornish wherever it was possible to do it. We work with the local farmers, butchers, fishermen, mussel farmers, jam makers, bakers, Brewers, distillers, and vintners. Much of our produce comes from within a five mile radius and there’s not a single dish on any of our menus that doesn’t include Cornish ingredients. We have a drinks menu which features Cornish products in virtually every section. When we renovated the restaurant we used local tradesmen for every job and local suppliers for the materials and this is something we would continue to do with the rooms.
