We co-found 23db Productions last year. Our collective knowledge of audio production provides a one-stop shop for great live, studio or social media content. We specializes in creating music, recording, mixing (live and studio), mastering, filming and video editing.
We are raising funds for producing, artists fees, recording, mixing and mastering our album, Rushin Art, with 4-time Grammy Award winner Christian McBride, Joe McDonough and Kyle Poole. We have worked with Christian McBride as live sound engineers for his big band for 3 years and now we want to include him on our own recording! Rushin Art is a play on words because we’re giving ourselves only a day to record this project and Denis speaks fluent Russian being from Kazakhstan!
As a company, we always push our productions to be at the highest level. Once Christian McBride agreed to be on the project we immediately realized that we needed help to get this particular project done at the level we want. We usually produce, record, mix and master out of our small project studio. This time we decided to rent a studio to track instruments with great outboard gear to get the best possible recording of these amazing musicians. This is a very ambitious project for us and also a dream of ours to produce such highly acclaimed musicians. As a fairly new audio production company these cost are above our budget and thats where you come in!
Musician Bios
Christian McBride www.christianmcbride.com
It’s not simply his abundant virtuosity that has made Christian McBride the most in-demand bassist of his generation. McBride consistently combines his deft musicianship with an innate ability to communicate his enthusiasm to an audience—a warm showmanship that transforms his own passion into infectious joy. It comes across whether he’s leading his own bands; sharing the stage with jazz legends like Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock or Pat Metheny; accompanying pop giants like James Brown, Sting or The Roots; or collaborating with classical masters like Kathleen Battle, Edgar Meyer or the Shanghai Quartet.

Kyle Poole is a drummer, bandleader, and composer. He moved to New York at 17 years old, since then he has performed with Paul Jeffery, George Cables, Jeremy Pelt, Mike Ledonne, Peter Bernstein, Frank Lacy, Stacy Dillard, Joel Frahm, and others.
