After working for 20 years in Enterprise Sales in Corporate America, I left the 9-5 in 2014 to follow my passions and entrepreneurial drive. I completed a month long yoga teacher training program at Sivanada Ashram in the Bahamas, and received my teaching certificate – a lifelong dream. At the Ashram I had the sincere joy of eating clean, home cooked, simple vegetarian food all month long.
I love fresh, wholesome food with simple, healthy ingredients. When I was a kid, my favorite cereal was shredded wheat. So many people in today’s busy world grab processed snacks or sugar-filled energy bars that contain complex ingredients with names no one can pronounce. Many protein bars are simply glorified candy bars.
I launched Sattva Vida to help people get back to eating and enjoying simple, fresh food. Sattva Vida creates artisan snacks that are great for the body, soul and taste buds. Join me down this healthy, delicious new path!
Have you ever grabbed a snack, looked at the label and wondered, “What am I eating? What IS that ingredient?” Sattva Vida solves this mystery by going back to the basics — back to simple, pure, delicious ingredients that taste great and are great for you, such as nuts, dates, seeds, coconut, etc.
Our Artisan Energy Truffles are light, nourishing and delicious, and come in a variety of flavors. They are geared toward health-conscious eaters, workout enthusiasts, yogis, runners, vegans, busy Moms, kids, and anyone with good taste. They offer a boost of energy and joy anytime throughout the day. They are “Pure, Nutritious, Anytime, Delicious!”
Sattva Vida Truffles are Gluten Free, Vegan, and most importantly — yummy! They don’t contain oats, grains, flour, added sugars, or anything artificial. The dates make them sweet and supply fiber, while the nuts and seeds pack them with protein and nutrients.
Sattva means “pure” in Sanskrit, and Vida means “life” in Spanish, so Sattva Vida means “Pure Life.” Sattvic foods are those that are pure, essential, natural, energy-containing, clean, and conscious. In fact, a Sattvic Diet is sometimes referred to as a Yogic Diet. It helps maintain harmony and balance in one’s body and mind.
Real food tastes great, so eat real food!
