We have all been there…well now there is Find Me a ticket, the app that will search all of the available ticketing sites in Australasia and find you a ticket to the show.

Once our search engine has trawled the various sites the app will list tickets available in your area in order of price from lowest to highest. You simply decide what you want to pay click on the link and we’ll take you off to the seller’s site so you can complete the purchase.

It is that simple! 

Find Me A Ticket App and Website Australasia – Overview

Phase 1

Introduction: When seekgeek.com  app started it was simply a search engine for tickets for events. As with Google you would enter your search terms into the search form filed and the search results would be displayed in ticket price order. For example if you searched for Ed Sheeran Sydney you would get a list starting with the cheapest ticket to the most expensive. When you selected a price and venue the app would then take you to the event page on that site and this is where the sales transaction would take place. Another example of a similar site here in Australia is http://www.stereoboard.com/ed-sheeran-tickets.

It was only after several years of database growth that Seek Geek began to approach actual ticket sellers to form partnerships to direct customers to their sites to facilitate ticket sales for a commission. In many ways this changed the site from a true ticketing search engine to more of a selective ticket concierge service.

In phase 1 “Find Me A Ticket” (App and web site) will simply be the Google search engine of ticketing sites in Australasia to find its loyal customers the best tickets at the best prices. NO actual sales/transactions will occur via the app or website. “Find Me A Ticket” will initially be monetised with advertising.

Once the app and website are established and a decent database has been collated phase 2 may lead to approaches to or from established ticketing service providers to form partnerships, but this will not be a consideration in the initial design and build of the phase 1 app and website.

These are just some of the many sites which will encompass ticketing service providers, arts organisations that sell their own tickets, venues and ticket resellers.

·  There will be the opportunity to monetise both the app and the website with paid advertising.

·  Secure customer data capture is important along with secure storage of data that meets current Australian and New Zealand privacy legislation. Terms and conditions to be linked to within the app and website

·  Customers can sign up manually by completing customer registration form, or via social media (facebook, Twitter, etc).

·  Customer preference forms to be available so customers can select type of entertainment they like to attend so that future eDM campaigns can be tailored to their tastes and responses.

·  Ability to stream soundcloud and embed videos on the website only in phase 1.
