Cleveland Action Legal and Jail Support
CLEVELAND ACTION/BLACK LIVES MATTER
November 23rd will mark one year since 12-year-old Tamir Rice was murdered by Cleveland Police Officer Timothy Loehman. On the weekend commemorating his death the people of Cleveland, friends and accomplices will gather and call for action to ensure that the senseless killing of Black people in Cleveland comes to an end and that those responsible for the deaths are held accountable. In the name of Tamir Rice, Tanisha Anderson, Timothy Russel, Malissa Williams, Ralkina Jones, John Crawford III and all the lives cut short at the hands of the police we demand an end to the epidemic of police violence. This project is dedicated to the pursuit of justice for stolen lives.
WHY WE MUST FIGHT FOR JUSTICE & DECRY POLICE BRUTALITY
There are countless cases, many unknown or without the mass media attention given to the names we have mentioned here. But we fight for justice for all, including John Crawford, Walter Scott, Rekia Boyd and all stolen lives.
We appeal to you for your help in providing legal and bail support for those who enlist in the fight for justice and equality. 100% of your donations will provide bail and legal support. Thank you.

why we’re doing it
WE ARE THE ONES WE ARE WAITING FOR
Black and Brown people are disproportionately victims of racialized violence in our society. Many of those targeted do not have the financial resources to provide the legal and bail support needed to challenge the injustices of a system that is already systemically biased. This project insures every person receives his or her day in court with due process and representation faithful to realized justice and equality for all. This movement is the people’s movement. We are the ones we are waiting for. This project is a practical way everyone can become involved in a movement committed to dismantling systems of oppression.
