DANI MOLINO – A musical road trip across the USA
In 2009 I moved to London with just a guitar and a bunch of songs in my head. All I wanted was to put a band together and start playing around the whole music scene.
5 years later, after having played every single bar in London and having recorded a couple of albums, I was burned-out, nothing made sense and it made me feel completely lost. I needed a change.
I didn’t know what to do but I only knew I had to leave. So at the end of the summer of 2014, I got into a plane to the U.S. and I left everything behind.
During the next 3 months I drove on my own more than 5000 miles, from New York to LA. There was no plan, I just wanted to empty myself to be filled again with new experiences and with music.
I went through the Blue Ridge Parkway on my way to Nashville, slept in a cabin in the woods completely isolated from the rest of the world, I went to New Orleans, I went through the desserts, California…. and every town, every city became my home.
Now, a year later, I finished 12 songs that I started writing when I was travelling and they are ready to be recorded. This is the story of my trip, the music from the road.
A new musical trip begins. Wanna be part of it?
