The Royal Parks debut album
The story of the project
The Royal Parks (Dan, Amy, Tea, Thomas, Sarah H, Sarah G) are set to record their debut album with acclaimed LA based record producer, Noah Georgeson in November 2015 and need your support to see it happen. Noah Georgeson has produced records for legendary indie-folk artists such as Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes) and has mixed records for The Strokes, Husky amongst many others. Noah will fly to Melbourne for the recording process and take the tracks back to LA to mix.
Formally under the name ‘Dan and Amy’, The Royal Parks have grown from a folk duo into a dynamic six piece. The dreamy folk songs of The Royal Parks feature detailed three part-harmonies with intricate instrumentation and arrangements. They capture the melodies and harmonies of 60’s and 70’s folk, and deliver them innovatively with subtlety and balance.
It’s a great opportunity to pre-purchase the album on digital, CD or vinyl and be a part of what will be a beautiful album.
How the funds will be used
Rockstar produces don’t come cheap – so the money raised from Pozible will pay a part of Noah’s flights and fee. Your contributions will be covering about 1//3 of the total costs to make this album happen. Luckily, we’ll be using Tea Studios free of charge and we’ll be hiring some other rooms and studios to record some of the drum parts.

Challenges
The challenge will be getting this album heard by as many people as possible. We want this album to go far and wide and be played on radio, around the net, in people’s home and car stereos. You can help us by spreading the love (if you love it) and sharing with your loved ones.
