Holiday for a Purpose!
Join us on an adventure like no other in May 2016 where will will explore the Kumano Kodo trail – a journey through a thousand years of Buddhist history on Japans beautiful Kii Peninsula.
The Kumano Kodo is a rugged pilgrimage walk which has been used for centuries as a rigorous training ground by Buddhist monks because of its steep mountains and isolated surroundings. The mountains, valleys, roaring rivers and plunging waterfalls provide us with a spectacular landscape for our walking challenge while thoroughly imbuing ourselves in the region’s rich, ancient history, great food and charming rural life.
We are asking all attendees on this epic journey to fundraise a minimum AUD $2000 (tax deductible) to support the vital anti-human trafficking projects run by PROJECT FUTURES.
