Handmade Rag Dolls from the Philippines!
Hi, my name is Jerry Martin. I am a Canadian Expat that has been living in the Philippines for 12 years. I love everything about the Philippines, especially the smiling faces of the Filipino people. My new life goal is to hire artisans to create a series of original handmade rag dolls that have distinct Filipino characteristics and market them to families nationwide. Let’s keep the Filipino children smiling.
Stage one of the plan is to create six very unique Filipino Rag Dolls that Filipino children will love to play with. Each doll will be totally original and unmistakenly Filipino in nature. Once the six designs have been approved an initial inventory of dolls will be produced and test marketed in Zamboanga City, Philippines.
To fund the project I need $6,000.00 US dollars. The money will be used to pay the artisans that will create the original dolls and to stock the initial inventory. All profits will be reinvested to make more dolls that will be sold in other cities in the Philippines and eventually worldwide.
