Run for the Good Life Farm: provides animal based therapy and educational programs for young people from 11-17 with extreme social and emotional problems

iCrowdNewswire - Oct 8, 2015

Run for the Good Life Farm

You can help us by donating to our City2Sea team of runners and walkers.

If you are really keen you can join the Good Life Farm team to run or walk and get more sponsors. We will be accepting team members up to 2 October.

To join the team you must enter the City2Sea event which costs $65. You may prefer to simply sponsor the team.

Some very generous tradies and volunteers have offered to help with construction at no charge.

We need to raise enough money to buy the materials so they can start work.

About the Good Life Farm

The Good Life Farm provides animal based therapy and educational programs for young people from 11-17 with extreme social and emotional problems caused by abuse, violence and neglect.

The farm provides a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment where they can recover and begin to put their lives together. Our grass roots healing program works with an internationally recognised therapeutic model, on a self-sustainable farm with a variety of animals and gardens.

It has been operating at Healesville (about one hour out of Melbourne) since 2005.
