Simple, All-Natural, 3-Ingredient Skincare
Body Food, a great alternative to chemical filled skincare products, is now available at Frazier Farms in Oceanside and Vista as well as online at getbodyfood.com.
Vista, CA, September 25, 2015 – Body Food Skincare Company announced today that it is raising funds via a rewards crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The fast growing startup is gaining momentum as people search for healthy alternatives to commercial beauty care products. Body Food invites supporters to take the ‘No Yucky Stuff’ challenge, and stop using products with unidentifiable chemicals in the list of ingredients. The base ingredients in these amazing products are raw, unrefined, ivory Shea Butter imported directly from Ghana and Coconut Oil.
Body Food is different for 3 simple reasons –
Body Food has received rave reviews and even claims of improving eczema, dry flakey skin, and making skin look and feel younger! The line includes the original fragrance free body butter, as well as a brand new line of pure extract scented body butters and creams, pure extract scented deodorant for both regular and sensitive skin, and lip balm. It will likely expand to eventually include soaps and shampoo bars. All the ingredients used are edible and safe. In fact, most of the ingredients are better known for their use in cooking, hence the branding Body Food.
A word from Kim Marquardt, Owner and Founder, “I wanted to bring to market a line of products that were simple, understandable, and safe; where you can look at the label and know exactly what you are putting on your skin. I am extremely passionate about educating people with regards to what is really in their beauty care products and encouraging individuals to cut out as much ‘yucky stuff’ as possible from their beauty care routine. I say, if you’re going to do something unhealthy, at least make sure it tastes good!!”
Body Food is a grassroots company started on May 30, 2015 by Kimberly Marquardt, an RN and published author and blogger. By the end of July 2015, Body Food products were already featured in a local gourmet grocery store chain, Frazier Farms, in Vista and Oceanside, CA. Another larger vendor deal is currently underway.
