Timbergram
Summary
Timbergram made huge waves in the Greeting Card market when we launched our Wooden Postcards in 2012. Our retail network now exceeds 600 shops and we have won major awards for Best New Product in the UK and Australia. We have already sold 200,000 Timbergrams but we’ve just scratched the surface – we are now looking for investment to support our international growth.
Opportunity
Timbergram is a distinct greeting’s card – there’s only so much that can be done with a picture on thick paper. Nicer than a card but not quite a gift – people keep Timbergrams much longer than normal cards which quickly become rubbish. For the same price you get a much more valuable product. We believe Timbergram.com is a premium offering compared with most online card retailers and offers just as much personalisation.
Context
Founded in 2012 when three designers joined forces to make engraved Wooden Postcards for Valentines day, the idea quickly caught on and has grown into a full production facility, a range of products and global sales. Timbergrams are produced in our factory in East London by a small team of full time staff who all trained up through our apprenticeship scheme. We source all our Timber conscientiously, and make donations to Tree Aid for every Timbergram sold.
Progress
We have been featured in a wide range of Press articles including The Telegraph, Vogue, and The Daily Mail. We have won major awards for ‘Best New Product’ in the UK and Australia. We have sold nearly 200,000 Timbergrams over 2 years. Our retail network now exceeds 600 shops. We have stockists in 26 countries and counting…
