We are raising funds to install a bike maintenance stand with tools and public pump at the University of Southampton’s Highfield campus to encourage staff, fellow students and other members of the public to maintain their bikes with convenient place on campus to do so.
We are Southampton University Road Cycling Club and we are here to cater for all your cycling needs.
We are not just a club, we are a community, bought together by a passion for cycling and ready to have fun, get fit and make friends.
1 in 10 people from Southampton University regularly cycles to the university for work or study.
The project will be a direct benefit to the 3000 staff and students that cycle to university, with a larger potential reach to residents of the Highfield area, Bassett and Portswood areas of Southampton.
The project will also enhance the Student Union Ethics and Environment activities by increasing awareness of sustainability through campaigning that will take place as part of this project.
