Our riders deserve an audience. Whether friends, family or enthusiasts; we want to give them the opportunity to be a part of the RUSH experience. We want to build a safe viewing platform.
‘It has always been part of our long term plan, but with your help we can make it happen now. The viewing platform will enable supporters to fully share in our riders’ moments, be part of their journey and enjoy their achievements as they happen’
We are passionate about delivering this platform for our riders and their supporters. As a small CIC (not for profit company) – we really need your help. Our target is to raise at least £10,000 towards the cost of the platform. If we get more we will be able to develop our supporters ‘SNUG’ and bring big changes to the cafe as well. All funds will be invested to make RUSH a better experience for everybody.
“We started RUSH because of our son”
– Jerry and Michelle Norman (RUSH Skatepark)
Rush is a pioneering family run skatepark in Damien Hirst’s former 40,000 sqft workspace near Stroud. The park is the brainchild of husband and wife team Jerry and Michelle conceived after their then 11 year old son Josh caught the BMX bug.
As a family they spent their weekends travelling up and down the country in search of the perfect park. ‘A lot of the good ones were North’ says Jerry ‘ the quality was mixed and service and atmosphere was often lacking. In the end we felt we could do a better job ourselves, and provide a world class facility for riders, their family and friends’.
“It’s been fantastic being able to be so hands on with this. The team behind RUSH have taken my ideas on board, and have allowed me to be very influential with the design of the park’
– Ben Hennon, Professional BMX’er
RUSH skatepark offers a unique rider experience. Situated in one giant hall, the park is one of the largest in Europe. There are 5 parks in one, offering the only street section of its kind in Europe – possibly the world.
So. what’s the problem, take a look at our video.
We really want to improve the way we provide for RUSH supporters by building a viewing platform. To make this happen sooner (in fact now) we would love you to get involved – we really need your help.
If we get more we will be able to develop our supporters SNUG and bring changes to the cafe as well.
There’s lots of options so we are confident there will be one to suit you. There will be only so much ‘signature’ space so don’t miss out.
We know that in the last 3 months the Superdry brand has been seen in over 15 million views from 39 edits (videos to the older generation). Not to mention all the visitors to the park itself and many more opportunities during upcoming competitions. They are a large scale promoter, but you can have some of that action by taking up one of our opportunities aimed at the business community.
So, the boring bit.
‘Signatures’ will be your name as submitted by you printed on vinyl and displayed on the viewing platform screens. A maximum of 25 characters per name. They will be on display for a minimum of a year at which time we reserve the right to remove or move them without further notification.
For Business supporters print ready copy will need to be provided for a 25cm by 100cm or for the 100cm by 120cm full screen vinyl overlay.
Street section ‘shop fronts’ will be allocated by RUSH. You will be responsible for window dressing by arrangement with the RUSH management team.
