Help us bring something really WILD to SW London in 2016. We’ve put all our savings into a shop premises in Putney. We have taken the first step and are now applying for relevant licences that will allow us to open a community centre that focuses on bringing nature, animals and people together.
This project will aid in educating all those interested in Exotic animal awareness, care, biology and their natural world! We will run coffee mornings, arts and crafts workshops, conservation projects, youth groups, community trips and more.
All these activities will be available to all of the local schools, residents and care homes in the SW London area, but we need your help!
Without our licence the shop just remains another shop; maybe it will be another chicken shop, off licence or laptop repair shop service. This is certainly going to be a shop with a difference!
The community deserves and needs this chance. to bring something unique to SW London. We need your help. We have just one chance to convince the authorities that this project is worth the efforts.
Ever wanted to know how a gecko sticks to a surface? How to work with animals in the future? Want to go somewhere that you can appreciate reptiles for the beautiful creatures they are? We pledge to do all of this and more, but we need support from all of you to help us pass our application and open our doors!
Show your support by posting a picture of yourself, your pets or your family to @InspireUsSw15 on twitter with the #inspireus or to our facebook page: inspire exotics!
Letters of support from the community that we must present to the council are gratefully accepted and need to be emailed to us: inspireusputney@outlook.com
