Equestrian – Competing at Olympia
At long last i have the chance to make my dreams real, all thanks to 2 ponies that life had forgotten.
Both these ponies had been given up on, daley because he was getting on a little and bella, dear sweet bella, at some point in her baby days had lost all faith in humans and passed from pillar to post.
With a huge amount of love, time and cuddles both these ponies have turned around.
Daley is now out competing inhand and is always in the top 2,loved by all for just being his super sweet self,he is the pony i tell my troubles too and to whom i owe my sanity, having suffered a breakdown and then to be diagnosed with arthritis in my spine, my ridden days are now over competition wise, i refuse to give up on these 2 and we are more than happy to go out and look our best inhand.
Bella, once scared to be touched and lashed out in defense will now be the first one waiting for a cuddle, loves her morning coffee and a good old bottom scratch, she is now at the start of her inhand career and proving a little star too.
My one dream has always been to compete at Olympia, The show of all shows where competitors from all over the world come with the very best to compete for supreme titles, however due to health and finance, family commitments it has always been out of reach..until now.
However, as life is, a new stumbling block has arrived, the bigger the shows, the more the fees, the higher the travel expense, without help i simply cannot attend the shows i need to in order to qualify which i why i now find myself asking for help, in return we are more than happy to donate a percentage of any prize money to an approved equine charity.
