Find and unlock beautiful, private spaces to work, meet and relax.
Breather is a rapidly growing startup focused on the unlocking of private space with smartphones.
Our product is a network of rooms you can unlock with your phone at any time. It is live and successful in two markets, with spaces being used for phone calls, meetings, work with strong wifi requirements, as pop-up shops, etc.
For our users, Breather replaces or augments their office. Active users use our network up to 3x per week at a cost of 15-25$ per hour, occasionally up to 100$+ per week.
Our mission is to be able to unlock hundreds of thousands, or millions, of doors across the world, on-demand. Highly valuable for travelers or other people in transit, the Breather network is also used by locals as an “in between space” while they are away for home or work.
While customers are going to love our easy-to-use mobile apps to find, reserve, and pay for space, Breather’s smarts are really behind the scenes: in our smart reservation system and back office tools, deployment of cutting-edge and cost-effective “Internet of Things” technologies, and even in the physical design of our rooms.
Our technology will allow us to identify the highest-traffic, highest-value spaces that our real estate partners provide, enabling the agile creation of new and profitable locations in an ever-growing number of cities.
Breather’s engineering heritage shows demonstrable attention to security, reliability, performance, and extensible architecture.

Just as Uber opened up luxury sedan rides to taxi cab customers, Breather unlocks quality private space for people who need it at a moment’s notice.
Our customers need private space but are settling for crowded coffee shops, packed coworking facilities, and noisy hotel lobbies. They live in and travel through cities around the world.
Breather provides space that is both functional and relaxing, allowing for personal and business use no matter what the hour or duration of stay. A Breather customer could use a space as a temporary office one day and for a rest the next.
We enter into relationships with real estate owners by invitation only at the moment and already have some of NYC’s best names in our network.
A property owner’s incentive is exclusive access to a whole new set of customers. By doing so, we gain access to space that is otherwise difficult to obtain or very expensive.
These relationships allow us a less capital intensive, and more agile, method of deployment than traditional real estate based businesses.
