NEW MOTION PICTURE OF WM. INGE ACCLAIMED NOVEL,
“GOOD LUCK MISS WYCKOFF”
Director of William Inge Center For The Arts,
Karen Carpenter To Make Film Directing Debut
“Good Luck Miss Wyckoff”, a contemporary version of the acclaimed novel by Pulitzer Prize, Academy Award, winner, William Inge, one of America’s greatest playwrights, will be directed by internationally distinguished theatre director, Karen Carpenter. the Artistic Director of the William Inge Center For The Arts from a screenplay by veteran producer, Robert Weinbach, two time winner of the Houston International Screenplay competition.
The film will feature a major actress in the tour de force role of Evelyn Wyckoff in this modern version of Inge’s haunting and compelling story with other highly recognized actors in featured roles. The picture will be filmed in Mississippi under the Mississippi Film Incentive Program targeted for production in late 2015.
In that regard, the producers have initiated a Good Luck Miss Wyckoff, IndieGoGo crowd fund Campaign and are inviting Inge fans, followers and supporters of the arts to join in helping to bring this gripping story to the screen which the producer’s very much appreciate.
