KEVIN SPACEY AND CAL RIPKEN, JR.
THE PRIZE
Hello,
It’s Kevin Spacey and Cal Ripken, Jr. here. First of all, thank you for your support. We have been lucky enough to enjoy careers in the arts and sports, respectively, and it is important to us to pay it forward and help provide young people with the opportunity to thrive.
We are here on Prizeo because we want to raise funds and awareness for The Kevin Spacey Foundation and The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation in a way that we can also give something back to you.
So we want to invite one of you to be our personal guest at our exciting event, UNDER THE LIGHTS, Stories of Hollywood, Baseball, The Journey to the Top and Giving Back on September 28th in Washington, D.C. You and a friend will join us for a drink. The evening will also include dinner and a VIP party.
If you’re not already in D.C., not to worry. Flights and hotel accommodations will be included for you and a friend.
And in return for your chance to win, all we ask is that you join us in supporting our foundations. Entries start at just $5 each, and you can donate as much as you like!
We look forward to meeting you.
Kevin Spacey and Cal Ripken, Jr.
THE KEVIN SPACEY FOUNDATION AND THE CAL RIPKEN, SR. FOUNDATION
THE CAUSE
Through KSF Grants, the Foundation supports emerging talent in the performing arts (drama, dance, music and film), enabling the practitioners of the future to realize exciting, innovative creative ideas. The KSF Scholarships give anyone wanting to attain a higher education in the arts the chance to attend university. KSF Learning supports secondary schools and students in secondary education, using theatre techniques to inspire young people to be aspirational. All of our projects are offered for free.
The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation
The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation uses baseball/softball-themed programs to help build character and teach critical life lessons to underserved youth residing in America’s most distressed communities. Founded in 2001 by members of the Ripken family in memory of their patriarch Cal Sr., the Ripken Foundation works to create programs that positively impact at-risk youth through active community partnerships with law enforcement agencies, adult mentors and successful youth service organizations. In 2015, the Ripken Foundation aims to impact over 1 million kids nationwide through its Youth Development Park initiative and Badges for Baseball programming.
