Archived: Bart w/ band Budwig, free single and pre-order the NEW ALBUM

iCrowdNewswire - Aug 16, 2015

Bart Budwig’s second full-length studio album “The Moon And Other Things” is a throwback to Waylon and Willie’s outlaw days mixed with the soul and song writing of Van Morrison and Nick Drake. The album was recorded live to a 4 track reel-to-reel tape machine in the historic OK Theatre in Enterprise Oregon with a day of overdubbing at The Albatross Whiskey Bar in Astoria, Oregon.

Look to the right for pledges/rewards. Scroll down for photos of rewards, stretch goals, credits, album tracklisting, and some words from Bart.

Digital downloads of the album pre-ordered through Kickstarter will be delivered in October 2015 (please ignore the year error on $10 pledge). The album will otherwise be unavailable until May 2016.

Bart here, I quit my day job this January to become a full-time sound engineer and musician. Recording for my second full-length album, “The Moon And Other Things” is complete! It’s very important to have products at radio stations and shows these days and I would love some help getting this album into physical form. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

What’s my favorite thing about this project? All the artists and musicians I got to collaborate with. I hope you enjoy the rewards we have put together for you.

Costs you are helping with: CDs replicated – $1000, Vinyls pressed – $2000, Total – $3000

Thanks for your support and keep an eye out for the NW full band album release tour, May 2016. Cheers!

Stretch goals: What happens to extra funds if we exceed our goals?

#1 – $4,000 total raised – Covers the cost of getting the album professionally mastered at Telegraph Mastering in Portland. Limited edition vinyl will be pressed on to fluorescent pink vinyl (first pressing only). Yummy!

#2 – $8,000 total raised – Mr. Jerry Nolte in Cove Oregon will make me a custom guitar. This will allow me to focus on songs and stories at shows instead of tuning; it will also support an amazing local guitar maker.
