Hi family!
As Common Center continues to evolve as an original music entity, the desire to release a full-length album grows greater. Over the past few months, we have been spending countless hours at Soapfloats Studios, and we are proud to say that we have one on the way for all to hear! Our debut LP will contain fresh new takes on 4 of the 5 songs off of our Summer 2014 “Live at the Warehouse” EP, joined by songs from our regular live roster as well as brand new creations that have just recently started getting stage time. We are not holding back on studio hours or cutting any corners on quality – what we are releasing to you will truly be something we are proud of – and we cannot wait for you to hear it.
As our cheeky video describes, it is not cheap to produce an album, and for us to give you everything that we want and you deserve, we are launching this PledgeMusic campaign. This is a 60 day project that allows you to pre-order the album, get exclusive merch designed specifically and only for the campaign, and be a part of us reaching a huge goal. What makes this different from a normal crowdfunding campaign is that PledgeMusic allows you to be a part of the process.
Starting with the AccessPass (album download on release date), you choose the exclusives/bundles that you desire, and they all will come with the download. After that, you come pick up your goods at the Release Party! Don’t worry, if you are not in the area or cannot attend, we will ship them to you at no extra cost. During this campaign, we will post exclusive studio updates, pictures, videos, and more to keep you in the loop and a part of this ride.
If you believe in Common Center’s future and its evolution as much as we do, then please SHARE this campaign! It is so vital to handling the production costs of this record and everything associated with getting it out there (tour, distribution, press, etc.) and we would love to see it go beyond the goal we have set. After we reach this goal, we will be giving 10% of all additional proceeds to Melodic Connections, a Cincinnati/NKY based non-profit that uses music to empower individuals with special needs. Oh, and we’ll be looking out for those getting their share on, and plan to show them our appreciation.;)
If you have any ideas that you would like to see be a part of this campaign, please feel free to let us know!
With love,
-Austin, Dennis, Ian, Jess, Lewis, Liam, and Sasha.
