Artisan Chocolate Festivals, a team of creative individuals, have come together to help small artisan chocolatiers around the country to promote their craft through participation in a series of chocolate festivals that are open to the public. This has been done in Europe and Asia for decades but has only recently been introduced here in the United States. A first class venue for artisan chocolatiers.
Many smaller, local chocolatiers – many of them literally “mom & pop” – wish to bring the joy of chocolate to Americans by displaying and offering the chocolate delicacies they create, but simply can’t afford the costs associated with this kind of an undertaking. So to help, we plan on holding a festival in which we can seriously reduce the usual exhibit fees!
To help, we’re asking the public to donate to support this endeavor, through a posting on Indiegogo at http://igg.me/at/choc. A portion of the proceeds will also go to charities. The next show is scheduled for April of next year, in Chicago. But to make it happen, the chocolatiers will need the public’s help. Any donation will go a long way towards making this dream come true. And a list of perks for donors is listed on the Indiegogo website. America’s chocolatiers need your help to preserve the fine art of artisan chocolate making. So we’re doing what we can to make it happen.
