SUPPORTING ROLES: Loosely based on ridiculous real people

iCrowdNewswire - Jul 24, 2015

We love making funny and original stuff. (Note – we actually first wrote, “We love making funny and original shit,” but thought it would be so much classier to use the more generic “stuff.”) But what TV and movies don’t tell you about making TV and movies is that making TV and movies is hard and expensive you’ll inevitably need a little help.

As Texas girls with Texas grown talent, we want to continue writing and shooting our work in Texas with Texas talent. We plan on raising the funds to produce the rest of season 1 of Supporting Roles to be released before the end of the year. We’ve already begun submitting and discussing distribution with production companies to get as much exposure as possible.

After all, season 1 is great, but what’s season 1 without season 2…

Auditioning is the worst. Being a struggling actress is the second worst. But having a friend to support and fail spectacularly beside you along the way – both in life and auditions – is the best.

20-something actresses Brandi and Sarah may not ace every audition, but have this friendship thing nailed. Sarah encourages Brandi as she stumbles less than gracefully through the dating pool. Brandi helps Sarah work through the pros and cons of pushing a tiny human out of her vagina.

Their lives are ridiculous. Their auditions are more ridiculous. Thank goodness they at least have each other.

Supporting Roles is currently riding that festival circut wave, and will continue to do so after we complete Season 1. We will also continue to stream epiosdes through our Vimeo channel and have goals to pick up additional channels for distrubition (holla if you know anyone with Smart Girls). Either way, the final epiosdes of Season 1 will start streaming towards the end of October 2015.
