Taylor Johnson and Tyler Best have been best friends since high school. For several years, they have dreamed of opening a successful small business in the local community of Corydon. As God has provided the opportunity, they believe this is the perfect time in which to make this dream come alive.
Taylor has lived in Corydon for 11 years now. He spent his formative years of life in this community, attending Lanesville schools after moving with his dad, a United Methodist pastor, and family to various churches in Indiana and Kentucky. There is no doubt that he calls this community home.
Tyler grew up in Harrison County in Elizabeth, but also attended junior high and high school in Lanesville and church in Corydon. He recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Evansville, but is glad to be back home, living in Corydon.
Taylor will be a senior at Hanover College beginning this fall. Tyler will be a student at Asbury Theological Seminary. After prayerful consideration, both have committed to hold off future plans in order to commit more time to Digital Now IT. Taylor will hold off plans to attend law school after college for a few years and Tyler will take a reduced course load while attending seminary.
Taylor and Tyler both believe the time is now. Not only do they seek to fulfill a dream, they also think this is the perfect time for technology to change the economic landscape for businesses and non-profits in the local community. They both share a deep passion for technology and believe it has a great ability to aid people in achieving higher levels of productivity. Starting a small business that has the potential to positively enhance our community for the future is something that excites these two young entrepreneurs.
