I am a qualified corporate lawyer and established my own law firm at the age of 29 after working at three of the largest corporate firms in the country (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London, DLA Piper in Liverpool and Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester). I identified a niche in the commercial law market for a law firm to charge fixed fees for commercial work rather than charging using the traditional hourly rate model. In 2008 when I developed the firm and in 2009 when it was launched, no other commercial law firms were operating a fixed fee model. It has now, however, become fairly common in the market. I grew the firm every year (despite launching in a recession) and, having started the firm by myself with no clients, a blank piece of paper and a phone, I grew the business to a turnover of almost £300,000 with a team of four people within five years. I am also the founder and director of Predict the Six. Like all business owners, I have learnt a huge number of lessons from the mistakes I have made in running two businesses, all of which will be used to benefit this online company in which I have absolute faith. I am hard working, enthusiastic and positive. I want to grow this company to compete with the big boys in the online gambling industry and have fun on the journey along the way.
