The fuel crisis is one of the most significant challenges facing our economy today. From individual consumers to major corporations, everyone is looking for alternative fuel sources that will help the environment and save a few bucks!
We understand how important an alternative fuel source is, and CNG Southeast wants to make a difference on that front. We’re bringing CNG to the Southeast to create a more energy-efficient and affordable world!
Everyone knows about today’s sustainability problem. Fossil fuels are not a renewable resource, and at some point, they are going to run out. As the amount of fossil fuel decreases, the price rises. The United States is no longer able to rely on fossil fuels, and the race is on to find a solution.
No one suffers more than commercial trucking companies. These trucks use more fuel than most, and many companies are seeking a way to make changes to save the environment and some money. Many are turning to alternative fuel sources, such as natural gas, to save 30-50% on fuel costs, but there are still some major barriers for these companies!
In 2015, Congress passed Heavy Goods Vehicle legislation that allows large commercial trucking companies to use natural gas as mainstream transportation fuel. The only problem with this is that there are only a few natural gas fueling stations. With its abundant supply and lower price, it only makes sense to use natural gas as a transportation fuel!
The Southeast, in particular, lacks the fueling stations. In order to help the trucking industry, the natural gas refueling infrastructure needs to be expanded in the Southeast. CNG Southeast aims to create and expand this infrastructure so that natural fuel can become a viable and powerful fueling solution!
Location, Location, Location. This doesn’t just happen by chance. To find the perfect place, we do extensive research to identify high demand and easy access locations. Our business model focuses on upgrading conventional gas stations in highly industrialized areas making alternative fuels available to both commercial customers as well as the general public at large.
With over 30 years of construction experience, we’re able to service every aspect of an alternative fuel station from beginning to end. Not only will this save a ton of money on constructing the site, but it enables us to be able to adjust the size of our equipment footprint to compliment the station that we’re integrating it into.
With more than 2,000 operating stations worldwide, this relationship gives us incredible experience and resources that are unmatched by anyone else in the industry that helps us to increase the performance and decrease the price of our natural gas alternative fuel stations.
So what exactly makes CNG so special? CNG, or compressed natural gas, is an alternative to gasoline that’s made by compressing natural gas to 1% of its volume. A number of big-name companies are already making the switch to natural gas, including UPS and AT&T.
CNG is the fuel of the future for a number of reasons:
We help you reduce your carbon footprint by 20% with our cleaner, sustainable energy. CNG reduces carbon emissions by 90% and has less harmful output. Any releases are environmentally-friendly and reduce carbon-monoxide, nitrogen-oxide, and non-methane hydrocarbon emissions.
Because the fuel is abundant, natural gas is a resource that will lasts! Unlike like gasoline, propane, or other transportation fuels, CNG burns cooler extending the life of your engine. This also means that you don’t need to go in for as many oil changes or tune ups saving drivers time and money.
Making the switch is easy to do, and companies can
save 30-50% over gasoline when they switch to CNG. Natural gas is the most affordable transportation fuel in the US, and unlike petroleum prices, CNG is forcasted to have consistent pricing over the next 25 years!
CNG is domestic and abundant. 98% of natural gas
is produced in the US, and this reduces dependency
on foreign oil while also supporting American
business.
Our first year in business, we independently upgraded and serviced multible CNG stations for leading automotive manufacturers.
Because of this, we have direct social contacts with those already using CNG as well as other potential customers. We also have press connections from our EQ supplier as well as Clean Cities, a site devoted to national energy efficiency.
With the construction of the first CNG refueling station utilizing advanced Galileo technology equipment in the southeast, we know that we will be profitable from the first day of operation and will make about $1 per gallon. We’re going to create a really incredible site for energy efficiency that will shape the future of fuel, and we’d love for you to be a part of that!
