In less than 18 months of trading, on her own and with a shoestring budget, Tipplesworth founder Frankie Snobel has secured stockists and partnership deals with 7 of the UK’s biggest premium retailers, a global spirit brand and a national train company. Tipplesworth is a combination of Frankie’s passion for mixing spectacular drinks and a love of vintage bar accessories. Tipplesworth’s mission is to surprise and delight, demystifying mixology and creating cocktail bar standard drinks that you can enjoy anywhere.
Products
Tipplesworth Cocktail Cases are handmade vintage-style suitcases that contain premium ingredients (spirits and mixers), professional barware, glassware and a recipe card. This autumn, Tipplesworth will be launching a new bespoke collection of cocktail cases for Liberty (with Flowers of Liberty print and bespoke cocktails) and Conran Shop (Negroni Cocktail Case with Conran Shop print design).
Tipplesworth Mini Cocktail Kits are filled with all of the premium ingredients needed to make a delightful cocktail, along with a recipe card and cocktail stirrer or stick. Presented in a stylish keepsake tin (embossed with the Tipplesworth logo) with a quirky printed card wrap. Launching A/W 2015.
‘Perk Up Your Bubbles’ Fruit Liqueurs: This autumn, Tipplesworth will be launching the “Perk Up Your Bubbles” range of all-natural fruit liqueurs (produced in small batches in England) that can be combined with Champagne or sparkling wine for lovely twinkling cocktails. Bottle labels will have a ‘Tipple-gauge’ to help you measure and mix your sparkling cocktail recipe. The ‘Perk Up Your Bubbles’ range will be sold individually in 2016 and we will primarily target the on-trade, including bars, pubs, hotels, trains, planes and events.
Retailers have already placed significant over £90,000 worth of orders for September 2015 deliveries.
Vintage Cocktail Trolley Events: Tipplesworth hosts vintage cocktail trolley events, a development that came at the request of First Great Western Trains. Since the launch of Tipplesworth Events (September 2014), Tipplesworth has had requests for private/corporate events, which is a high profit margin part of the business that should fiercely grow once investment is secured.
Brand Partnerships:
Tipplesworth has secured a new strategic partnership with Bacardi-Brown-Forman’s Woodford Reserve, using this premium bourbon in Tipplesworth Old Fashioned Cases and Mini Kits from September 2015. This partnership includes marketing and PR support from Woodford Reserve.

Tipplesworth launched in September 2013 with its collection of stylish cocktail cases after being approached by Harvey Nichols and securing its first order. From there Selfridges, Fortnum and Mason and John Lewis have become stockists. In addition, Tipplesworth will launch a bespoke range of cocktail cases for Liberty and Conran Shop in September 2015. Tipplesworth will also have Whole Foods as a stockist from Autumn/Winter 2015.
Key Achievements
Tipplesworth has been invited to 10 Downing Street (twice!), including meeting Prime Minister David Cameron and presenting him with an Old Fashioned Cocktail Case. Frankie was invited by government-backed Start-up Loans (which gave her a business loan), who chose Tipplesworth as one to watch, which included 15 businesses out of 25,000.
Tipplesworth had its cocktail cases displayed in 2 main Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge Christmas windows and was featured in Peter Jones’ ‘Gifts they’ve been dreaming of’ Christmas display.
Tipplesworth was chosen to represent the best of Christmas at a very exclusive John Lewis Christmas Press Event in late-June 2015. Only a small select group of suppliers were chosen to be showcased and profiled in the 2015 Christmas Press Pack.From Autumn/Winter 2015, Tipplesworth products will be in 11 John Lewis stores nationwide and online, up from 2 stores last year.
Tipplesworth has also been chosen by Liberty to be at their mid-July Christmas Press Event, making the bespoke cocktails Frankie invented for the retailer and showcasing the new Flowers of Liberty range of Tipplesworth Cocktail Cases (in three Liberty prints).
