He has significant experience in the New Zealand scientific research sector, and consults to research institutes, Government ministries and funding agencies on policy, technology transfer, commercialisation, and eResearch. Julian is a member of the New Zealand Ministry of Science & Innovation’s Futurewatch group.

  • Dave is a serial entrepreneur, and has been working with very early stage companies since exiting The Web Limited in 2002. He is well known and respected
    in the Angel Investment and tech scenes, having been on the AngelHQ
    establishment board, InternetNZ councillor, organiser of Lean Startup Wellington and organiser of Startup Weekend Wellington.

    Originally from California, Dave emigrated to New Zealand in 1982.

As employee #11 at Abebooks.com, one of the largest and earliest online marketplaces, she worked across all aspects of member relations, marketing, communications, product development and website usability.

    Annabel oversees the marketing, business development, community management and product development of the Appreciation Engine.

  • Eric is the Music Industry’s “Go-To” guy for data. He’s the founder of Big Champagne, which measures and reports on how entertainment is discovered and consumed.

  • With over 15 years experience in the digital, media and music space Kevin King brings his industry knowledge to advise the Appreciation Engine.

  • With over 12 years of experience in web application development, Jeff has developed highly scalable websites and social networking platforms using the best fit web technology for the project. Experienced in a broad range of multimedia technologies, his work has extended into television and mobile environments.
