Hi, My name is Srael. I use to be over 200 lbs at 5’4″. My physician said that I was at risk for several illnesses such as diabetes. I was a student at the time, I didn’t have money for a personal trainer or even a gym membership.
I remembered in high school that we did a lot of exercises without any equipment. As such I researched how to exercise without equipment. I found several different exercises that can be done with body weight only.
Problem is, where do I start, how many reps, sets and all that information was very opinionated on the internet. Now come this idea, progressive calisthenics. Exercising at home and as you practice, you unlock different exercises. It is merging gaming and fitness, and best of all anyone can do it. Even without a gym membership. All you need is the app. It will keep count of your progress, and you keep training without having to dish out 6000$ per year for personal trainer.
My hope is that I reach rural areas that don’t have gyms, and low income areas that can’t afford gym memberships and give them an option to stay fit and healthy.
