If you’ve ever spent an afternoon connecting with your friends and neighbors at the park, pushing the kids on a swing or hanging out after pick up, you know how important the Reynolds Field Playground is to our town.
Help us raise additional funds to transform this village hub into a beautiful community park!
Thanks to the allocation by the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson Board of Trustees, Reynolds Field Playground will be undergoing much needed renovations beginning this August (Plans will be posted here as soon as they are finalized). The money will cover the basic (new and improved) equipment.
But in order for the park to be truly special, we need you!
The Friends of Reynolds Field Playground is a group of your neighbors pulling together to ensure that we get more than new equipment.
Only with your help can we add the additional elements to really complete the transformation – a natural sandbox, children’s performance space, additional climbing elements, shade, and paths for toddler trikes. The limits are only our imagination – and budget! That’s where you come in. Every additional dollar we raise gets us that much closer to the play space our children deserve.
We are already working with two amazing local businesses who are joining the cause: Peter Gisolfi Associates, a local architectural firm, has generously agreed to help design the playground and Scribble Art Workshop will guide a community art installation (More on this to come!).
Join us and help build a new Reynolds Field Playground!
