Let’s take a quick look at one statistic: for every 100 babies in Tanzania, 23 of them die before they are born. Pregnant mothers in Tanzania lose their children to miscarriages because they don’t have access to essential medical care. A mother’s worst nightmare is losing her baby because of a preventable illness that could have been detected with medical devices.
We want to give the Iringa Regional Hospitalin Tanzania the tools necessary to detect fetal health issues treat them before it’s too late. With the addition of an ultrasound and EKG machine, Iringa’s doctors will be empowered with essential tools for helping patients.
Why should you contribute?
You will save lives. Ultrasounds and Electrocardiograms are powerful tools for detecting many health problems in both the baby and mother such as spinal deformities, Down syndrome and heart defects.
Every single cent we raise goes to purchasing medical supplies for the hospital. We’ll also match a percentage of your contributions out of our own pockets to purchase thank-you gifts from a very special, unique store: Neema Crafts.
