Professional go made closer to everyone
Hayashi Sensei, professional 6 dan at the Kansai Ki-in (a Japanese Go Association), proposes to come again to Europe this year at the European Go Congress in Liberec in the Czech Republic and at the ‘stage de go’ in Belmont in France. His exceptional talent to explain simply the fundamentals of go, his kindness and his availability to play games with all those who wish, whatever their level, were extremely popular during his previous stays in Europe. His comments are tuned and personalised: he always puts the finger on the typical weaknesses of amateur play but also knows how to encourage the players, emphasize their qualities and give them new inspiration and taste for progress. Unfortunately, his journey and stay in Europe cannot be supported entirely by the European go federations due to a lack of money. That’s why we raise funds to enable him to participate in these two major events, essential for the European go dynamics.
Let’s help Hayashi Sensei to be with us this summer !
The EGC is the biggest event in the European Go world, held once a year in a different European city (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Go_Championship). It gathers about 700 European and international Go players each year.
This year it will be organized by Czecho Go Federation in Liberec.
Hayashi Sensei took part in the EGC in 2006 ( Frascati, Italy ), in 2010 (Tampere, Finland ), in 2011( Bordeaux, France), in 2012 ( Bonn, Germany ) in 2013 (Olsztyn, Poland ) and in 2014 (Sibiu, Romania). He commented many participants’ games and gave many lessons. He was awarded as the best Go teacher in the EGC 2012 oraganized by German Go Federaition and he also is one of the main teachers in the French Go Camp held in July each year from 2012.
What are the funds for?
Flight fee, hotel booking and meals in Liberec for two weeks

Our goal is to develop the game of Go in Europe and in our countries. In order to do our mission, we organize every summer the European Go Congress (EGC) and invite some foreign professional players, essentially Japanese, Chinese and Korean players. Hayashi Sensei is one of them and is very appreciated by european players.
