LET’S CELEBRATE BARB’S 40 YEARS AT WT
For many WT alums, there is one person whose dedication made a life changing difference: Barbara Whitney Holmes.
An inspiring, dynamic teacher and director, Barb continues to bring creativity to speech and drama classes, musicals and plays. And she brought out the best in us.
Barb has been teaching at WT for 40 years, and we have a unique opportunity to honor her. This summer, Falk Auditorium will finally become a theater that supports the program she has built over four decades. Kerry Bron ’84 and her husband, Robert Levin, have issued a challenge toWT alums who graduated between 1966 and 1998.
If we collectively donate $20,000 to support the auditorium renovation, Kerry and Robert will match our gifts—resulting in $40,000 to honor Barb’s 40 years at WT! This donation will give us the opportunity to name the dressing room in honor of Barb, and a plaque will be installed to recognize our tribute.
We have until June 30 to make our $20,000 goal. Please take part in this once-in-a-lifetime tribute, and make a gift today.
A gift at any level will help; if you would like to consider a stretch gift, you may make a multiple year pledge, which can be paid over 5 years or through monthly installments on a credit card. You may also make a gift of stock. Please contact Michelle Wion Chitty at WT (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to explore these options.
