The AM station is 5000 watts and covers about 30 counties. This is a very locally oriented full service station. The potential audience of this station is over 700,000 people.
The FM station is a 6000 watt facility serving the 215,000 people. The current format of the station is oldies.

Small business marketing
Historically, the main sell-able product of a radio station is commercial airtime. For small market radio, this is done primarily by promoting small businesses and helping them succeed. In today’s world, this expands beyond just radio commercials into online promotions, web presence, social media interactions, and more. One of my plans for the stations is to increase their visibility online and the cross promotion available with these new media outlets – using the radio broadcast as a driver for the other marketing opportunities.
