Money Habits and Financial Illiteracy

iCrowdNewswire - Jun 22, 2015

Money habits and Financial Illiteracy.

Subprime loans, mounting credit card debt, foreclosures, repossessions, credit crunch, liquidation, pawn shops are just some of the words that I associate with money problems. Sometimes the problem is out of your control, but for the majority of the time, it is through money mis management, attitude and behavior that cause money problems and a damaging downward spiral.

CashCrunch Games is a resource, created by a teacher, focusing on Financial Literacy. In particular a Personal Finance game called CashCrunch 101 which focuses on decision making through addressing Income, Expenses, Budgeting Attitude and Behavior towards money. The basic game is currently in the Apple and Android stores with a downloadable computer version also available from the website. With the Kickstarter funds, we want to make CashCrunch101 into a Free web based game with many additional features, making it more accessible( to everyone and in particular schools), relevant, challenging and fun. We believe that we can make a difference to the Financial illiteracy in the world and need your help to help us make a difference. We would appreciate your help. We need to raise $50,000 in 30 days if we are to have any chance of making that difference. The campaign can be found on

The Kickstarter campaign operates under an all or nothing funding model and if we do not reach our target, CashCrunchGames will end up empty handed and lacking the funding to make a difference. By donating, you are helping us make a difference. Please follow us on Twitter (@cashcrunchgames) and Facebook
