Paint Hospitality House
My name is Paul Davis and I am the Operations Manager at The Mendocino Coast Hospitality Center. We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization that, among others things, operates a 24 bed homeless shelter in Fort Bragg, CA – The Hospitality House. We currently operate the only year round homeless shelter in Mendocino County.
At The Hospitality House, guests have an opportunity to get off of the street and have a safe place to stay while they try to improve their situation. We serve breakfast and dinner 365 days a year, not only to our guests, but anyone in our community who is hungry. Additionally, we offer laundry and shower services to our guests and other needy community members.
The staff, Board of Directors, and our clients all pride ourselves on how well we maintain our properties and beautification and proper maintenance are an integral part of how we maintain good relationships with our neighbors and the community at large. Currently, our shelter is in need of a paint job, and it is particularly important that it be done professionally as we live in a coastal community where the elements really take a toll.
We need $25,000 to hire a professional painter who will repair and paint both of our buildings front to back.
Any contribution that you can make toward painting our shelter would be a great help and if you can spread the word to your friends, family and coworkers VIA email, Twitter, Facebook or any other means, it would go a long way toward helping us meet our goal.
