Before starting Talent Spike, Asim Siddiq (founder) began his recruitment career in 1995. He was one of four managers who built the most successful permanent IT recruitment team in the UK to date. This team consisted of 36 recruiters and averaged 180 permanent placements a year delivering a turnover of £10m in 1998. Asim also spent the best part of 6 years as the Commercial Director of an eBusiness solution provider. This company designed and built Tesco.com for Tesco. During his time there Asim was responsible for all operations including finance, legal, HR (including recruitment) and was instrumental in the company’s scalable growth. During this time turnover rose from £2m to £25m and headcount from 30 to 200. Still very hands on, Asim currently works with a broad range of clients headhunting executive level positions and leveraging his extensive network of contacts.
