Even in our digitized, mobilized world, for some things, there’s still nothing quite like good old-fashioned pen on paper. But all the scribbling, sketching, doodling and jotting that goes on around the world — that adds up to a lot of wasted paper. Or it did, until now.
Meet Letterforms: the dry erase notebook that can be re-used millions of times without wasting a single sheet of paper. Whether you’re working out a simple math problem or sketching out the details of the next great product innovation, let Letterforms dry erase notebooks be home to your next big breakthrough.
Letterforms dry erase notebooks are the fun, reusable, eco-friendly way to scribble, sketch, doodle and draw.
Letterforms dry erase notebooks come in 3 sizes:
Our patent-pending reusable pages are covered with a special coating that allows you to erase and reuse them practically infinitely — no muss, no fuss, and no “ghost” marks left behind from previous brainstorming sessions.
Letterforms notebooks have been thoroughly tested and proven to work with a number of different writing utensils, including dry erase markers, Staedtler correctable markers, permanent markers and ballpoint pens. Even if the writing has been there for weeks, even if it’s written in permanent marker, Letterforms makes it easy to erase and start from scratch.
Imagine a day where every student has unlimited space to try and fail and retry new concepts; where instead of piling our office wastebaskets sky high with discarded ideas, we could simply wipe them away and start fresh.
With Letterforms, that day may be closer than you think.
Letterforms notebooks will soon be a must-have for scribblers and doodlers of all ages, interests and abilities, but there are few key groups for whom we think Letterforms will be especially useful:
Making mistakes is a crucial part of the learning process. Whether they’re elementary schoolers trying out long division for the very first time, or college students working out a complex physics problem, Letterforms offers students of all ages and abilities unlimited space to explore, discover, try and try again.
Jot down notes from team meetings or scribble out reminders and to-do lists, then simply wipe them away when you’re done with them — no more cluttering your desk or cramming the waste basket!
From architects and animators to designers and developers, Letterforms is a must-have accessory for any profession where doodling is in the job description.
Letterforms is still a young company, but we’ve had some incredible success so far.
In March, we wrapped up a successful campaign on Kickstarter, raising $107,000 from more than 2,500 backers. In total, Letterforms has sold 4,000 units to 2,700 customers in all 50 states and 43 different countries.
Letterforms is has plans to partner with the distributors of Crayola to license and distribute Letterforms products, as well as with Universities and several stationery distributors.
And there’s much more still to come from Letterforms! Up next: dry erase comics, and 8-sheet packages of dry erase blank and dotted grid sheets! For more information about these and other exciting developments at Letterforms, please request access to the Business Plan page of this profile!
Letterforms was founded by Venkat Yuvaraj, a mechanical engineering graduate and dedicated scribbler with a passion for developing simpler, more environmentally friendly scribbling and doodling alternatives. In addition to the Letterforms dry erase notebook, Venkat has also developed a washable writing medium, which was patented and was later transformed into a dry erase product.
