WE are a major T Mobile Master Dealer in the South- East managing sub-dealer network of T Mobile and unique branded wireless stores. Our commission volume is in excess of $3 M annually. We grow this revenue through organic growth, extensions into new regions and small acquisitions. UMS and its multiple brands are recognized as a trusted company in the marketplace. We place terminals in our retail distribution network to generate commissions from prepaid cell phone renewals. When consumers purchase a new monthly amount of air time we earn a commission. Currently commission revenues exceed $80,000 per month, and we can grow this business organically and by small acquisitions at very low multiples.
Through strategic agreements with Carriers we can “rent” wireless capacity, brand it and then market it through our extensive distribution channels. The MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) allows us to generate additional revenue sources, as well as stimulate demand for our phones, tablets and equipment. We expect to launch this strategy in 2014.
CEO: David Lee – Owner and Founder. Over a decade of experience in the wireless industry. Following initial sales experience with a regional Wireless wholesaler, and then an MVNO – David built one of the fastest growing distribution markets in the US. In 2007, he established a Prepaid Payment Terminal business that grew to 1,000 stores with annual revenues of more than $30 million. In 2010, David launched United Mobile Solutions to exploit distribution opportunities in the wholesale handset and wireless space.
EVP Operations: James Han . James brings valuable perspective to the executive leadership team. Early in his career from 1984 to 1994 James worked in management and operations roles with Lotte Group, a $50B South Korean company. He then served as head of strategic planning with Gold Star Construction Co. LTD from 1994 to 1998. Coming to America in 1998, James served as EVP for American Deli, transforming into a successful multi state franchise business with over 60 locations.
VP Sales & Marketing: Martin Park – From 1990, Martin served in various roles with Hyundai Securities Company of South Korea, being promoted to Senior Manager of Futures and Options Trading. In 2004 he immigrated to the United States and joined Future Expo – a wireless distribution company. Serving as VP of Distribution he developed his experience of building Master Agent business with Boost, Helio and various MVNO products and has successfully built distribution networks across the US. Martin graduated with honors in 1990 from Kyung Hee University and majored in Economics.
Contract CFO: David Kirkup – Partner B2B CFO. David Kirkup has nearly three decades of business experience working in Europe and the USA, and has served at a senior financial level with Reuters, MARSH, Zurich Insurance and ADP. He has been a consulting CFO since 2004, working with a wide variety of small and mid-sized companies including four fast growth INC 5000 clients. A native of England, David holds a BSc First Class from Warwick University, and a Chartered Management Accountant diploma. David holds dual US/ UK citizenship and has lived in Atlanta for nearly 20 years.
