Help us bring together international Dance Artists to present fresh, new, world-class choreography at the Fringe Festival Edinburgh
We have been invited to the Fringe but as a young Company that is not yet funded we have huge costs in order to reach, stay and give our dancers what they deserve.
The project is intended to bring our dance company “JSLN Dance Company” to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. At the moment a lot of our projects are financed privately. These projects also include social and educational work in addition to our performances in theaters. We go to hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and schools to bring our art to the peoplewho would not otherwise have the opportunity to get in touch with it.
The funding that we need is to cover Theater expenses, daily allowance for the dancers, travel costs from Germany, costumes and point shoes. The dancers will only receive % of the ticket money so we really do need your help.
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the largest of it´s kind and it will help us by making some excellent connections with people who can help us along to widen our outreach and to take our art to even more people.
Our world premiere “Transitions to (I)dentity…
This piece is about the discovery who we are and not who the world wants us to be. Sometimes forced to move into one direction by society and politics, we stretch out as far as we can to find what we call freedom. Our movement becomes our way of life and with that our very own (I)dentity.
Tranasitions to (I)dentity is about the inner struggle of who we are and who we should be. The pure speed of life brings us to live our life often not realizing the One Thing. The question often remains, who do you want to be?
We are a total team of 6 and are looking at 24 performances at the Fringe Festival. We need your help to get there and appreciate your support deeply, so I can only say
THANK YOU
