Help Car #66 (The Shearers) raise the entry fee for the NT Variety Bash – and all the money goes to Variety to help the kids
HELP RAISE MONEY FOR CAR#66 FOR VARIETY NT
Welcome aboard Car#66 on the Northern Territory Variety Bash.
Variety, helping all children to live, laugh & learn
Children growing up with disability, serious illness or disadvantage need help from a special charity.
That charity is Variety.
With your support, Variety the children’s charity gives more than a million dollars worth of goods and services a month to Australian children with special needs.
And one of their major fund raising events is the Northern Territory Variety Bash.
The Variety Bash is Australia’s largest (and favourite!) motoring event with participants travelling to rural parts of Australia that they would otherwise not see, at the same time raising money for disadvantaged and special needs children. Throughout the Bash, participants visit local towns, stopping into the schools to visit the kids (some schools only having 5 students!). Bashers get to see the smiles of the kids they’ve help and provide the schools with equipment to assist students development and education.
And that’s where Car#66 “The Shearers” comes in!!
We are experienced “bashers” and have done other Variety Bashes in past years. Our car is kitted up and ready to go. We have raised $3,000 of the $5,000 entry fee, and need your help to raise the remaining $2,000. Keep in mind, the $5,000 all goes to Variety to help them with the work they do with kids. Last year, we kept going with our fund raising and raised $7,000, so it would be good if we could beat that this year!
Headed by The Master Shearer and Kiwi Sheep-lover, Brendon De Ruyter, the guys have put together some great rewards to entice you to pledge your support, so get behind this campaign, and help us help Variety help the kids.
Remember, iPledg is an all or nothing crowd funding platform. That means if we do not reach our target we get nothing and nothing is taken from your PayPal account or credit card. If you can not support this project financially you can still help by spreading the word using the share button and spreading the word to your friends.
